Stations and Equipment
Station 1 was built in 1928 and is located in the downtown district. This is one of the few stations left in Mississippi with the firefighters pole. Engine 14 and Rescue 11 operate from this station with 5 fulltime firefighters assigned.



Station 2 was built in 1975 and is manned by 4 fulltime firefighters.
This station is located near the hospital with Engine 12 and Tanker 13 covering this side of the city.


Station 3 covers the east side of the city with 4 fulltime firefighters
manning engine 10. Engine 8, the reserve truck, and Engine 3,
the parade truck, are also housed here.



Apparatus
Engine 10 is a 1990 FMC with a 1500 g.p.m. pump. This pumper carries 1000 gallons of water.
Ladder 16  is one of the latest  edition added to our equipment.
Engine 12 is a 1997 Ferrara pumper cabable of pumping 1250 g.p.m. and carries 1000 gallons of water.
Tanker 13 is a 1991 Chevy Kodiak tank truck that carries 2000 gallons of water. Tanker 13 also has a portable dump tank used in tanker shuttle operations.
Engine 14 is a Ferrara pumper carrying 1000 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 1250 g.p.m.
Engine 8 is a 1978 American LaFrance pumper carrying 500 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 1250 g.p.m. This is our reserve truck.
